16. Piazza Nosetto in the 1800s

During the period of the Swiss German governorship the Town Hall was altered, the rooms refurbished and in 1756 the windows became rectangular. A wrought iron balcony was also added, a feature common to many houses at the time.
By this time the cumbersome well has also disappeared from the square and may have been replaced by another in the courtyard.
